Mr. Chong is Subdivision Manager of Information Management at Ameco Beijing. He is responsible for
Ameco’s overall IT strategy and planning, establishing standards for IT management and services,
IT investment and budget allocation, IT resource management, IT infrastructure and security, hardware
and software standards, desktop support, process improvement, mission critical applications development
and deployment, project and program management. Experience
Mr. Chong joined Ameco Beijing in 1999. During his 10 year tenure at Ameco Beijing, Mr. Chong has played
various roles including Project Leader, Manager of IT Infrastructure and ERP Systems, and now Subdivision
Manager of Information Management reporting to the CFO and Manager of the Finance Division.
Mr. Chong is instrumental in the development and deployment of Ameco’s SAP based parts and inventory
management system. Mr. Chong also serves as the IT executive sponsor and owner of the eDoc project that is
implemented by customizing TerraMRO’s Engineering module and PTC Windchill.

Mr. Gan is Department Manager of Software Project Management and Development at Ameco Beijing. He is
responsible for the management and maintenance of all Ameco’s IT projects and application systems. Experience
Mr. Gan joined Ameco Beijing in 1999. During his 10 year tenure at Ameco Beijing, Mr. Gan has played various
roles including Software Engineer, Project Leader, and now Department Manager of Software Project Management
and Development reporting to the Subdivision Manager of IT. Since 1999, Mr. Gan has directed and coordinated
many projects at Ameco Beijing including creation and management of the SAP R/3 ERP system, Technical Document
Archiving System and Ameco Aviation Maintenance Information System and, more recently, of the eDoc project
that is implemented by customizing TerraMRO’s Engineering module and PTC Windchill.

Jean-Yves Mondon
EADS
Jean-Yves Mondon is EADS’ Head of PLM Harmonization (Phenix program), reporting directly to EADS CEO,
Louis Gallois, and Airbus President and CEO, Tom Enders. He manages all aspects of methods, processes and tools
at EADS, under the responsibility of EADS’ chief technical officer, Jean Botti. Experience
For more than 25 years Jean-Yves Mondon has been involved in large scale civil and military programs. He
began his career with DCN, specializing in propulsion systems for vessels and submarines. He then joined
Framatome and focused on civil nuclear plant programs. A few years later, at Aerospatiale (now known as
Astrium), he led qualification phase initiatives for the separation of the second and third stages of the
M4-M45 nuclear missiles. He was then involved in the anti-missile defense military program, better known
as «Star Wars», in close cooperation with the United States (in charge of pioneering the
interaction of laser materials at high power levels). For the next eight years, M. Mondon was the director
of the Systems Department of the Aerospatiale Joint Research Centre. Since 1998, Mr. Mondon has directed and
coordinated many projects at EADS, including creation and management of the EADS & Aerospatiale Research
and Technology Network (with the support of Louis Gallois) and, more recently, of the PHENIX PLM Harmonization
program.

Jean-Paul Carrier
CAE
Jean-Paul Carrier, ILS Manager, is responsible for the implementation of CAE’s global authoring system
based on the S1000D international standard for electronic documentation (Project Mercury). Jean-Paul managed
all aspects of the project, from the creation of the business case through the successful implementation of
the tools and processes. Experience
Jean-Paul started his career in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a radar technician and then as a mainframe
computer specialist. Prior to joining CAE, Jean-Paul held various positions such as account manager,
marketing representative and customer services manager at IBM and Hitachi successively. Since joining CAE
in 1999 Jean-Paul has worked in the production of training curriculum, maintenance documentation and
logistic plans for large civil and military simulator programs. In 2005, as manager of the ILS department,
he was tasked to merge three separate functional units: the logistic, technical publication and technical
training departments into a single, coherent operational unit with the goal to streamline and synergize
all the processes towards a unified maintenance strategy. Over the past 2 years the team’s effort has
been focused on the implementation of a global authoring system based on the S1000D international standard
for electronic documentation and the creation of a global team to produce technical documentation. This
authoring system, built with the PTC Arbortext product, is the most recent addition to CAE’s global
process improvement program with the vision of a fully integrated PLM system from concept, engineering
drawings, to final documentation and training delivery.

Ian Proctor

Ian spent five years as the Technical Manager at CDG’s Knaresborough site and is now the CDG Technical
Publications Consultant and S1000D SME. Experience
Ian Proctor started work as a Technical Author, in early 1993 following a long and distinguished career in
the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Ian spent five years as the Technical Manager at CDG’s
Knaresborough site and is now the CDG Technical Publications Consultant and S1000D SME. Ian provides
consultancy services on technical publication management, and structured documentation solutions. Ian
has a high level of knowledge and experience in the production of both paper and Interactive Electronic
Technical Publications.
Ian is a member of both the ASD/AIA/ATA S1000D Electronic Publications Working Group (EPWG), and also the
UK S1000D Working Group. He is the lead of the S1000D Multimedia Sub-Group and a member of the S1000D
Training Sub-Group. With 15 years experience as a technical publications provider and 30 years experience
as a maintainer, Ian is ideally placed to advise on technical publications solutions.

Michael Mahaffey

Michael Mahaffey has spent the past 27 years with the Raytheon Company where he holds the position of
Engineering Director. Prior to his current assignment Mike was the Director of Logistics for the company,
he led a business area responsible for directing on-going programs and new pursuits, and was a successful
Program Manager. Experience
Michael began his career in industry following a twenty year military career with the United States Navy.
Mike began his career with Raytheon as a logistician responsible for a wide variety of tasks developing,
using, and managing logistics data as required by DoD 5000.2, MIL-STD 1388 - 1 & 2, as well as DEFSTAN 60
for a variety of DoD acquisition programs. Mike then moved into Program Management where for the next
twelve years he managed successively larger programs for the company and led a business area. For the next
five years Mike was responsible for pursuing new business where he was the capture manager for several
strategic proposals. Following that Mike was assigned as the Director of Logistics responsible for
initiating a uniform set of processes governed by Raytheon's IPDS and CMMI across the country. Mike now
directs a diverse engineering organization across the company where he is responsible for engineering
processes and procedures as well as engineering program execution and excellence. Mike currently chairs
the corporations Life Cycle Engineering Council, the Training Technical Working Group, and he directs the
Logistics Software Development Laboratory where the EagleTM suite of software tools are developed and sold
world wide.

Michael Burkett
AMR Research
Mike Burkett is regarded as the leading expert in product lifecycle management (PLM), having co-authored the
first industry publication that defined the market. As the vice president of AMR Researchs Value Chain
Strategies team, Mike draws on more than 15 years of experience introducing and supporting products from
concept to end-of-life. Experience
Over the past eight years at AMR Research, Mike, a Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, has conducted a variety of
research on software developments and business issues. He currently focuses on product management and
innovation, and specializes in value chain issues that are specific to aerospace and defense companies.
Prior to joining AMR Research, Mike worked as a senior manufacturing engineer at The Foxboro Co., where he
conducted training in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing techniques, and lead projects in new product
cycle-time reduction and order-entry process improvements. Prior to Foxboro, Mike was a motion control
applications engineer for EG&G.
Mike is a member of the Product Development Management Association (PDMA) and the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers (SME). He has been quoted in numerous trade publications and in Fortune and The Wall Street
Journal.

Luc Verbeke
Atos Origin
Luc Verbeke is heading the PLM team within the Atos Origin Belux organization, a team that focuses on
Windchill implementations. He also manages all PLM related business connections for Atos Origin Belux. Experience
Luc joined Atos Origin some 8 years ago after having managed one of the first successful Windchill
implementations in Europe at his then employer Xeikon. Since then, he and his team have been supporting
customers with Windchill in the Benelux and France in various industries. Some of these implementations
took place outside the traditional discrete manufacturing sector such as the process industry and the
civil construction sector.
Luc has also been managing the relations between Atos Origin Belux and PTC for the last six years.

C. Richard Harrison
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
C. Richard (Dick) Harrison is the chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer (CEO)
of PTC. Mr. Harrison is responsible for driving all of PTC’s global strategic planning and business
strategy. Experience
Previous to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Harrison spent six years as PTC president and chief operating
officer, responsible for all global sales, marketing, support and services. Mr. Harrison joined PTC in
1987 as vice president of sales distribution. Previously, he served six years at Prime Computer, a
leading mini computer company, in sales and sales management positions. Before Prime Computer, Mr.
Harrison spent two years at Burroughs.
Mr. Harrison regularly presents the company’s corporate vision to customers, analysts and the financial

James E. Heppelmann
President & Chief Operating Officer
James (Jim) Heppelmann is the president and chief operating officer of PTC. Mr. Heppelmann is responsible
for managing the operating business units of the company including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Services, and
Maintenance. He also serves on PTC’s Board of Directors. Experience
Mr. Heppelmann previously served as executive vice president, software products, and chief product officer
at PTC with responsibility for overall product direction, including coordination of PTC product vision and
strategy, product design and development, and product marketing and management.
Mr. Heppelmann has worked in the information technology industry since 1985 and has extensive experience
developing and deploying large-scale information systems within the manufacturing marketplace. Prior to
joining PTC, Mr. Heppelmann was co-founder and chief technical officer of Windchill Technology, a
Minnesota-based company acquired by PTC in 1998. Before co-founding Windchill Technology, Mr. Heppelmann
served as chief technical officer at Metaphase. Mr. Heppelmann had worked at Control Data Corporation
(now known as Syntegra) for seven years until the company formed Metaphase in 1992.
Mr. Heppelmann speaks regularly at product development and manufacturing industry events on topics such
as PLM, digital value chain integration, and gaining competitive advantage through product development
process improvement and global product development. He has also been published and quoted in numerous
business and trade publications, including The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, VARBusiness

Paul Cunningham
Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution
Paul Cunningham is executive vice president of worldwide sales and distribution at PTC. Since assuming
his position in October 2002, Mr. Cunningham has architected PTC's multi Channel distribution strategy
and led the transformation of its sales force from desktop vendor to enterprise solutions provider. Experience
After joining the company in 1988 as a sales representative, Mr. Cunningham was promoted regularly
throughout the 1990's into areas of increasing sales management responsibility, both domestically and
internationally, as PTC achieved a decade of significant growth. Mr. Cunningham has spent over two
decades helping market leading companies around the world pursue product development goals. Mr.
Cunningham began his career in the software industry in 1987 with computer aided software engineering
company Cortex Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Cunningham was a two-time Sales Leadership Club and
Pacemaker Award winner for mailing equipment maker Pitney Bowes.
Mr. Cunningham has been a board member for the U.S. National Association of Manufacturers since 2002,
and has been actively involved in lobbying the U.S. Congress for favorable legislation supporting U.S.
manufacturers. Education
Mr. Cunningham attended Babson College where he earned a bachelor of science in business administration.
Marc Diouane

Marc Diouane is the PTC European Divisional Vice President and has been leading the PTC sales organization
since 2005. Experience
Since joining PTC 15 years ago, Mr. Diouane has held managerial positions in all of the company’s key
worldwide regions. Prior to his current role, he was responsible for the Worldwide Services Business
Development division at PTC corporate headquarters in Needham. Between 1994 and 2000 Marc Diouane led
sales teams in France, Japan and Italy.
Mr. Diouane regularly speaks at key business and manufacturing industry events. His key areas of expertise
are Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital value chain integration, gaining competitive advantage
through product development process improvement and global product development. Education
Mr. Diouane earned a Master’s degree from the Bordeaux Business School and also has a university Degree

Paul Grenet
Senior Vice-President Aerospace & Defense
Paul Grenet is Vice-President in charge of the Aerospace & Defense sector in Europe. He is leading the
PTC Center of Excellence and is responsible for PTC’s A&D customers, with teams located in each
European country. Experience
Mr. Grenet worked the vast majority of his career in Aerospace and Defense, and joined PTC in 1996. He
managed several positions, from Account Manager to his current role since 2007. He developed the PTC
A&D Center of Excellence, aiming to propose on top of PTC’s technologies the core A&D
processes, roadmaps, implementation methodologies and business approaches that are critical to supporting
Aerospace and Defense companies’ current transformation. Education

Richard Prince
Director Vertical Market Strategy Aerospace & Defense
Richard (Ric) Prince is Director of PTC’s Federal Aerospace and Defense (FA&D) Product and Market
Strategy Group. In this position, he is responsible for understanding the business needs of government,
aerospace, defense and shipbuilding customers around the world and ensuring PTC’s products and services
are optimally designed to meet those needs. Experience
Since joining PTC in 2006, Mr. Prince’s responsibilities include articulating PTC’s recognized
point of view regarding FA&D target verticals, product requirements, and marketing messages and
managing existing customer needs, requirements and expectations. He is also responsible to provide direct
support to the global Sales organization in cultivating market opportunities and collaboration with Sales
personnel to support new and follow-on business acquisition.
Mr. Prince was formerly employed by the Aerospace business division of Smiths Group PLC. During his 20
years with Smiths Aerospace, he managed a variety of departments supporting the product development process.
At Smith, his professional accomplishments included the creation of best-class change management capabilities,
development of leading technologies and processes for product development, global deployment of PTC’s
Windchill and multiple data migrations, adoption and implementation of the PTC PDS Vision, and the creation
of leading Windchill collaboration capabilities for Program Management, largely derived from Boeing 787 project
requirements. Mr. Smith drove the organic growth of Windchill and deployment of PDMLink and ProjectLink to 4300+
global users.
Mr. Prince began his career in Aerospace and Defense over 23 years ago with General Dynamics Land Systems Division
in Lima, Ohio where he worked in Manufacturing Change Control. Education
Mr. Prince graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1983.
Charlie Cartwright
Director S1000D Dynamic Publishing
Charlie Cartwright is passionate about the S1000D specification seeing it as the future of all technical
publishing. Experience
Charlie Cartwright has served in most capacities in technical publications from a writer of service
bulletins to the Manager of Information Systems and Technology for the Technical Publications
organizations at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. He has been active in the Aerospace
Industries Association (AIA) activities related to technical publications. As a representative of the AIA,
he was among the first Americans to join the Electronic Publications Working Group (EPWG), the international
technical working group for the S1000D specification. When if was formed he was a founding member of the
United States Specification Implementation Group (USSIG). He has addressed a number of United States and
international symposia on SGML, S1000D and related topics. Education
Charlie Cartwright holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and Master of Industrial Management degree
from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. He has 37 years of experience in the Technical
Publication field.
John Fox
Director, Product and Market Strategy
John Fox is director of product and market strategy at PTC. Mr. Fox is responsible
for product strategy and marketing for PTC solutions that address environmental compliance and product
analytics. Experience
John Fox has more than 15 years of management and product development experience in the electronics and
high tech industries. Prior to joining PTC, he served as director of strategy and business development at
Synapsis Technology. He previously was a management consultant with Accenture and a senior electrical
engineer with Kulicke & Soffa Industries.
Mr. Fox has worked with leading manufacturers across industries, helping them improve their product
development processes and the environmental performance of their products and supply chains. He has written
and presented papers on these topics and speaks regularly at industry events. Education
Mr. Fox holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in electrical
engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
